Moises Reyes is a Broker and the Owner of Marathon Real Estate, bringing over 25 years of hands-on expertise across residential and commercial real estate brokerage, investment, development, and general contracting. With more than 1,000 properties sold and 1,000 properties renovated under his leadership, Moises has built a reputation as one of the most accomplished and versatile real estate professionals in the region — combining the strategic eye of a seasoned investor with the technical command of a licensed Class A General Contractor.
Professional Background
Before launching his real estate career, Moises developed a strong financial and business foundation through senior roles at world-class institutions. He served as a Financial Analyst at Electronic Data Systems (now Hewlett-Packard) and as Financial Manager at the International Monetary Fund, where he managed programs with nearly $500 million in annual budget. A graduate of George Washington University, Moises combined this high-level business acumen with an entrepreneurial drive that led him to real estate full time starting in 2004.

Holding a Class A General Contractor license, Moises has personally overseen the renovation and repositioning of over 1,000 properties. His construction experience spans volume single-family renovations, ground-up construction, multifamily condominium buildings, SFR subdivisions, and social housing projects across multiple U.S. states and internationally. During the 2008 mortgage crisis, Moises recognized the market opportunity and rapidly scaled operations providing repair, estimation, and disposition services to major financial institutions including Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, and Bank of America — at peak managing 300–400 assets per month across 20 states.
